Just for fun...

This made me smile:

Check out Matt's website. He managed to get himself sponsored to travel the world by Stride gum (after he created his first awesome video), and the video above documents him dancing as he traveled to 42 countries in just over a year. This is just the latest in the series of videos of Matt dancing, so be sure to take a look at the other videos on his website.

I found it inspiring, it definitely made me want to get out and see some of the amazing things our planet has to offer. Hope you enjoy it, too!

Out of town this weekend...

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that I'll be out of town this weekend so please don't expect to hear back from me via email until Monday. I'm just about to head out the door to drive to Arizona for a wedding tomorrow at the Phoenix Zoo! It should be pretty cool so check back next week for pictures.

My friend sent me the cutest article about an unlikely relationship between a dog and a goat.. :) The pictures are too cute! Take a moment and check it out, it'll at least make you smile.

Have a great weekend!

Happy Leap Year!!

So today is the final day in my month of blogging, and let me tell you I am thrilled! It is hard to come up with stuff to blog about when I don't have images to show! So I apologize for some of those most random of posts :) I'm so excited to be able to check off 'blog everyday for a month' on my 101 thins to do list.

So I googled 'leap year' and this is one of the first images that came up: I thought it was particularly fitting because I collect frog related things, yes I know, more randomness :)

Tomorrow I will be taking images at a fun event my friend Juliet of Green Orchid Events is hosting, so check back this weekend for some fun detail pictures!

Lancy & Crist: Engagement (sort of!) Part 1

The day after their wedding, I headed to Sunset Park here in Vegas to shoot some post-wedding engagement pictures for Lancy and Crist since we didn't have an opportunity before their wedding. Here is one quick shot, more to come later in the week.

Aren't they cute? :)

Email Issues

Hey Everyone! For some reason all of the emails in my inbox that I had not yet responded to vanished! If you have emailed me in the past few days and have not heard back from me yet, please resend them. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience!

As for yesterdays wedding... I just ran out of time today so you're gonna have to wait until tomorrow to see them. It was a really beautiful wedding so definitely worth the wait!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

First off I'd like to thank everyone who entered my Valentine's Day contest. It was hard to choose with so many great stories (and even a video!).

So without further ado, I'd like to announce the winners... Jeanna and Michael!

There story just touched me for a variety of reasons, here's a quick quote from the email Jeanna sent me "With him I become my best version of myself, which is perhaps the most amazing gift he has given me to date." I think that just about sums up what every relationship should be about. Jeanna -- send me an email and we'll set up your shoot! :)

Thanks again to everyone who entered, I hope everyone has an awesome Valentine's Day full of lots of love :)

Month of bloging day #7

Using a stat counter I can see a map of all the people that have viewed my blog. This map shows visitors just for the past week, and there are viewers from 10 different countries and 5 different continents! How cool is that?! On the right side of this blog you can take a poll to tell me who you are and how you got here, I'd definitely appreciate it if you did.... or leave a comment and tell me! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Month of blogging day #2

While there isn't a magic button to make you look happier and taller, I do individually retouch each and every image that is made into a print so it looks its absolute best. For some samples on retouching you can view some samples here.

Happy Holidays!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of year, so I thought I'd share a few quick photos from my home. I love decorating my Christmas tree... I collect Christmas ornaments which are all very special and meaningful to me, and I add a few to my collection each year. Many of my ornaments now I've gotten from my mom, an some even from my grandma - so I've included a few pictures of my favorites as well (click on the collage to see it bigger).

I'm back home with my family on the east coast for the Holidays, so it may take me a few extra days to get back you via phone and email. Hope you all are enjoying the season as well!

Seventeen states (plus DC!)

I have been lucky enough to travel to 17 states plus Washington DC to shoot weddings over the past two years. Living in Nevada, having gone to college in California, and growing up in Pennsylvania and New York it seems I know people everywhere. I love having the opportunity to visit new places, and I hope the trend continues!!

This is a map of the states I've shot weddings in so far (the PINK ones), and I hope to add more... and maybe even a few new countries as my business grows :)
