#20 - Take a yoga or pilates class

Yesterday I took my very first pilates class at StudiOhm here in Vegas, accomplishing #20 on my list of 101 things to do in the next 1001 days.

Since it was my first class I opted for the 'Pilates for Every Body' class for beginners like me. Cecile was the teacher, and she did a really great job making sure I was doing everything correctly, and helping me to modify positions that were too difficult for me.

I can tell it worked cause every muscle in my body hurts today!! :) I would definitely recommend StudiOhm for anyone looking to start a new exercise regimen -- and I'm sure they're great for more experienced people as well. I will definitely be heading back next Wednesday.

Glad you started Pilates and enjoyed it. Great exercise that is non-impact and beneficial for joints and posture...what more could you want?
